On the deep space convoy routes, ships pass once every few days and no one stops to look around. It is out here that the Rebellion is to mount a new and hard fought campaign against Imperial tyranny. It will be known as...

Introduction
This Rebel operation is a strategic effort to weaken the strongholds of the Imperial Navy by drawing forces away onto convoy duty. This will be achieved by attacking important supply convoys in deep space. The operation will be have three main elements:
- Logistics Intelligence
Intelligence will be crucial to proper and efficient determining of valid targets. This will require flying reconnaissance missions into Imperial space to ascertain the cargoes moving on specific convoys.
- Convoy Hits
The second element involves the operation of small but heavily armoured clusters of attack fighters and bombers operating in deep space, away from main Imperial patrol and surveillance.
- Strategic Supply
The third element consists of the special supply missions that will support the clusters of fighters operating away from conventional supply depots and stations.
The long-term aim of the mission is to both cripple Imperial logistics and to leave important Imperial installations weakly defended so that we can strike more important targets as well. The philosophy behind the attacks is that a handful of Rebel craft should be able to draw a large number of important Imperial ships away from key areas onto long and profitless escort missions.
The proposed missions necessary to make this operation functional are outlined below.
Mission 1: Clean Up
This mission requires a substantial task force to go and take out a number of installations at the gateway to the main Sector 4 hyperspace routes. They will be replaced within a few weeks but we must be able to get a substantial amount of materials, weapons and craft past that gateway undamaged, so the Route 4A-X6B Outpost must be completely destroyed before we try.
Mission 2: Install Strike Cluster 3
We must transport materials and craft into position on H-Route 4G-6SC. This will be a large logistic operation and will have a large escort to make sure nothing goes wrong. If we run into any Imperial patrols, they must be destroyed.
Mission 3: Gather Target Recon
A small group of A-Wings will drop out of hyperspace close to Galtarin Station. This is a usual refuel point for Imperial Convoys heading off into deep space. We have to determine what convoys are present and when we can be expecting them. The A-Wings will be fitted with experimental equipment we are developing which will scan the computers of the ships. This will hopefully give us their itinerary and flight plans.
Mission 4: Supply Strike Cluster 3
Our recon was confirmed and no major convoys have moved through H-Route 4G-6SC in 30 days. Strike cluster has been out on its own since the operation began and now needs supplying. It is vitally important that the whereabouts of the cluster's base is not given away. It is therefore important to make sure that the route we will take to reach the cluster is clear of Imperial patrols other wise we might get tracked right to them. If we meet a patrol on the way we must destroy it before any ships can get away.
Mission 5: Strike on Imperial Convoy I
New intelligence has highlighted a perfect target for the Wolf Pack's first operational mission. A large convoy of transports and corvettes are going to be moving through H-Route 4G-7HJ. Strike Cluster 6 will make a lightning strike on the convoy and then get out. Hopefully, the convoy will only be protected by a small escort so take advantage of the element of surprise. Imperial reinforcements won't take long to arrive so hit hard and get out fast.
Mission 6: Target Recon in Sector 1
The Empire is trying to counter our computer scanning technology and most of its big transports are using special computers that are shielded from open scanning. However we know that the big control computers in Sector 1 are still open due to the fact that the Empire itself uses a similar technology for bulk communications. It is therefore necessary to attempt a recon mission in Sector 1 to get the information from the central control computers that co-ordinate the convoy traffic. This will be a very demanding mission and we are committing significant resources to it.
Mission 7: Strike on Imperial Recon Squad
Our continued success in destroying Imperial convoys has led them to launching a large recon mission in the hyperspace lanes around Sector 4. We must do our best to cripple the Empire's attempt to find the hidden Strike Clusters. The main recon squad will be met by Strike Cluster 1 and must be destroyed before the transports can dispatch their recon probes.
Mission 8: Strike on Imperial Convoy II
A very important Imperial shipment of hyperspace drives is moving through H-Route 4G-2AX. We know the convoy is heavily defended but we are going to attempt a strike nonetheless. If we hit fast enough we might be able to destroy some of the cargo carriers without getting caught. It is important that we don't get drawn into an open conflict here as we will be outmatched by Imperial forces. Get in fast, knock out as many cargo ships as possible then get out. Don't take on the escort.
